i'll take the words of Jesus my Savior and Lord as well as the rest of the NT Writers and my own experience of the New Birth back in 1994 when I experienced the conviction of sin (John 16:8-9) over the "best biblical scholars" thank you very much!!! and according to the 6000 books I have in my Library most of the scholars don't claim what you just wrote so they must be heretical false scholars like Bart Ehrman just to name one!
