There's nothing wrong in honoring a loved one when they've passed away and gone to be with the Lord but the best time to honor them is when they are still alive. My mother used to say to buy her flowers when she's alive and not when she's gone and I would say people need to visit a loved one when they are still alive and not at the grave site or at the funeral home.
