If you will take the time to look in the mirror you will soon find out that God exists because if God did not exist you would not exist nor would I. I was an atheist for 31 years and then I had an encounter with the Holy Spirit who is the third person of the Godhead and that encounter is found in John 16:8-9, and during that encounter he revealed to me many things about my life as an atheist but one of the things that really stood out to me that caused me to repent and begin to believe in God was that there was a hell and that there was a heaven and I knew for fact that if I died in my state as a sinner or an atheist I would not be going into heaven but into an eternal hell, I hope that helps a little bit
